Sussex Enterprise has published its "Business Manifesto" which sets out business policy priorities for the next Parliament. In this manifesto, the business community in Sussex has identified policies which we want all MPs and Prospective Parliamentary Candidates to sign-up to and implement over the next five years. The manifeso has been prepared in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) (East Sussex and West Sussex regions) and the Institute of Directors (IoD) Sussex. It is an independently produced document and represents the views of our combined 30,000 members.
Members of these business organisations have been invited to put forward their views on a draft manifesto. Each Sussex constituency has identified its own local issues as well as broader Sussex issues.
The Business Manifesto argues that the next government faces fundamental challenges to boost the economy. The core components in the Manifesto include; rebuilding our business infrastructure, avoiding more tax and regulation and investing in skills and training.
