The face of training for Pre-start and new Businesses in Sussex is changing with the expansion of the Business Owners Standards for Success (BOSS) programme by the Enterprise Centre.

BOSS consists of 6 one day Seminars and Workshops, which take place over approximately 10 weeks. Topics covered include Business Planning, Market Research, the financial aspects of running a business, and Marketing.

Not only will successful completion of the programme enable delegates to put together a well researched Business Plan, but it will also provide delegates with an NVQ3 in Business Start up, and the opportunity to receive a Kite Mark of Excellence from the Enterprise Centre, both of which will add considerable credence to the Business Plan if, for example, it is being used to obtain outside finance.

The BOSS programme is run in Crawley.
